Particle Platform Components
The Particle Platform’s modular architecture makes it easy to add support for another input language or a new smartphone platform as the market evolves. The Particle IDE communicates with the Particle Engine using a standard XML-RPC protocol, which allows application developers to install the engine either on their own machines or in a cloud.
